3. Santorini, Greece
Santorini is a small volcanic island, one from the list of hypothetical homes of the ancient civilization of Atlantis. Now it is widely known for its striking views of whitewashed buildings.
On Santorini newlyweds can found everything for a memorable visit. Regardless of a small size, the island has a lot to explore. There you can visit colorful (red- and black-sand) beaches, some ancient settlements and enjoy beautiful sceneries of the caldera and smaller islands of the archipelago. And don’t forget about sunsets – they are really spectacular!
High season on Santorini is from late June to early September, but it might be too hot for sightseeing.
